The DogFather

Morning begins early here at Heroes Gold, as the light from the top of the stairs switches on. The dogs listen quietly for the steps and the voice of their master, lovingly referred to as the Dogfather, to all who know him. A morning hello, the door opens wide, and the day is alive with Retrievers!

How lucky these beautiful Golden Retrievers are, to spend their lives under the constant attention of my husband, their Dogfather. From fixing the smallest hole in a fence, to spreading their blankets out at night time, he is always there for all of them.

There are no outside kennels for the Retrievers of Heroes Gold. They are free to run and play in the fenced yard, with no confinement. Their master, again, has made their play area as comfortable for them as possible. Stable mats are laid here and there, to create a safe and comfortable rest time for their growing bones. Swimming pools in the heat of summer, and shoveled play areas in the winter's cold, make for happy Golden Retrievers. There are balls to retrieve, bones to chew, and toys to play with in every corner.

As night falls at Heroes Gold, all our retrievers are tired, content, and thankful, I am sure, for the love and care their Dogfather has given them throughout another day. His love is as constant as the day is long.

It truly is a 'Golden' life for all the Retrievers of Heroes Gold.
